Draft quote generation
TenderOS reads Epicor job, part, cost and historical pricing data directly and produces a first-draft quote in your existing output format.

/01 · What we heard
Excel Machinery builds custom crushing and conveying equipment for aggregate and mining operators. No two jobs share a configuration, so no quote can be assembled from a template. Today each one gets built by hand: job data pulled out of Epicor, dropped into spreadsheets, restructured to reflect sub-assemblies, then passed between three to six people before it is ready to go out.
You have looked at tools for this and found nothing that fits. The quoting products you evaluated assume that a quote is a configuration of standard options priced from a rate card. That assumption does not hold at Excel Machinery.

/02 · What we are proposing
TenderOS provides the parts that are the same in every engineer-to-order quoting problem: ERP data ingestion, historical pricing analysis, document generation, workflow routing and follow-up. What gets built custom is the part specific to Excel Machinery: your sub-assembly structures, pricing and margin logic, Epicor schema, quote output format, and the rules your estimators apply without writing down.
You get the speed and the price of a platform on the plumbing, and genuinely bespoke behaviour where your business is different.
ERP data ingestion, historical pricing analysis, document generation, workflow routing and follow-up.
Sub-assemblies, pricing and margin logic, Epicor schema, quote format, and estimator judgement.
TenderOS reads Epicor job, part, cost and historical pricing data directly and produces a first-draft quote in your existing output format.
Custom conveyors and crushers are composed from their components rather than retyped each time.
Every generated line carries a confidence marker so estimators know where to focus review instead of re-checking the 80% that was always going to be right.
The system routes open items to the right person and follows up. Missing data is flagged instead of silently stalling.
You see every quote in flight and where each one is stuck.
Historical project data, job records and reporting stay where they are.
Pricing, configuration logic, confidence markers and workflow automation become the durable layer.
If you later move to SAP or a leasing platform, TenderOS repoints to the new data source.
/03 · Implementation
Two working sessions. We walk a real quote, map the Epicor tables and reports, and review two or three historical quote packages with their spreadsheets.
Output: written configuration scope, hours-saved target per quote, and confirmed implementation fee.
Connect TenderOS to Epicor, load historical quote and pricing data, configure one selected quote family, and set up follow-up workflows.
Your team runs real quotes through TenderOS in parallel with the current process. We tune against what they correct.
Training, before-and-after measurement on hours per quote, and a written recommendation on which quote families to bring on next.

/04 · Our guarantee on hours
Measured on the quote family we implement, against your own baseline. Estimator and engineering hours on quote production are measured, not calendar time.
Established from two or three recent quotes in the selected family, using your own records.
The same method is used after go-live so the result is comparable.
The monthly platform fee suspends and we keep working at no additional charge until the threshold is cleared.
At the end of Week 1, we decline the implementation rather than commit to a number we cannot defend.
On comparable engagements, most clients end up automating 75% or more of the quoting process. On a project that costs 500 hours today, the guaranteed floor alone is 250 hours back.

/05 · Comparable work
Written case studies are available on request, under NDA where required.
Quote and document generation automated on top of the existing ERP. Configured product quotes generate as first drafts, with sales reviewing rather than building.
AI-driven automation across quoting and internal process handoffs in an engineer-to-order environment with high product variability and heavy spreadsheet dependency.
Invoicing and document workflow automation, including automated routing and follow-up on incomplete documentation.
Automation assessment across a custom quoting environment, mapping where estimator hours go and which hours are recoverable.

/06 · Commercial terms
The deposit secures the implementation slot and covers the Week 1 workshops. It comes straight off the implementation fee.
The implementation fee is confirmed in writing at the end of Week 1, after review of the actual quote logic and Epicor schema. You approve that number before configuration work starts. If the resulting scope is not one you want to proceed with, the only money spent is the deposit.

/07 · Next step
One working session with Gilbert, 60 to 90 minutes. We mark the automation points live and identify where the hours are and what each one is worth, whether or not you proceed with us.
Phil will send a calendar link so Gil can choose a time that fits the week.
